Privacy policy

Updated . This is the privacy policy for PyreWare Game Studio.

Who we are

PyreWare Game Studio (“PyreWare”, “we”, “us”) makes original mobile games and publishes this website atwww.pyreware.com.

The developer name on our Google Play and App Store listings is PyreWare. Privacy questions go tostudio@pyreware.com. For people in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, PyreWare is the controller of the personal information described here.

What this policy covers

This policy covers:

It explains what personal information we access, collect, use, and share, why we do it, how long we keep it, and how you can access or delete it. Each game also has its own Google Play Data safety section and Apple App Privacy details. Those store disclosures match this policy and the behavior of that game. If a game needs a practice that this policy does not already describe, we update this policy before we release that practice.

Apple and Google also process information under their own privacy policies when you use the App Store, Google Play, or a purchase billed by them.

At a glance

The website

Visiting www.pyreware.com does not require an account, and the site does not ask you to create one.

When you load a page, our hosting provider processes connection data so the site can be delivered and protected from abuse. That data includes:

We use this information to operate, secure, and debug the website. We do not use it to recognize you across other websites, and we do not sell it. The site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. A host may set a strictly necessary cookie to tell automated traffic from a person. You can refuse cookies in your browser. The pages will still load.

If you email studio@pyreware.com, we receive the address you write from, your message, and any information you choose to include. We use that to answer you and to keep a record of the request.

Mobile games

Our games run on Android and iOS. A game stores preferences and progress on your device. We collect additional information only when a feature needs it, and only as described in this policy and in that game’s store listing.

Before a game accesses personal or sensitive information that you would not expect, including anything collected in the background, the game itself explains what is accessed, why, and whether it is shared. That explanation appears in the game before the permission or consent request, not only in this policy. We ask for a clear action from you, such as tapping an accept button. Closing the message is not consent. You can refuse, and where the game can still be played without that access, we provide a way to continue.

If a game includes third-party code, such as a crash report or cloud save, that code may process information only to provide the feature we use it for. We remain responsible for that processing. The game’s Data safety section and App Privacy details describe the data involved.

Data we collect

This table is the full set of categories we use today. “No” means we do not collect that category.

How we use data

We use personal information only for these purposes:

We do not use personal information for a purpose that is incompatible with this list.

Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, or Swiss law applies, we rely on:

We do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you based solely on automated processing.

Advertising and tracking

The website has no ads. Current games are not described as ad-supported because we have not published a game that uses an advertising identifier.

We do not track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. “Track” here has the meaning Apple uses for App Tracking Transparency: linking information collected from a PyreWare game with information from other companies’ apps or sites for advertising, or sharing it with a data broker.

If that changes, we will update this policy before the game ships, say so in the game’s App Privacy details and Google Play Data safety section, and request permission on iOS with the App Tracking Transparency prompt. On Android we will use the Google Advertising ID, honor the advertising-ID opt-out and any consent screen Google requires, and we will not link that identifier to a persistent hardware identifier.

Paid features of a game are not conditioned on you agreeing to tracking or to advertising personalization.

Purchases

Purchases inside a game are billed by Apple or Google. They process your payment details under their own privacy policy. We receive a confirmation, a product identifier, and information needed to unlock what you bought or to restore it on another device. We do not receive your full payment card number.

A subscription billed by Apple or Google is managed in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting a PyreWare account does not cancel that subscription. Cancel it with the store if you do not want to be billed again.

Who we share data with

We share personal information only with:

Any third party that receives personal information from a game, including an analytics tool, an advertising network, or a related company, has to protect it to at least the standard in this policy. We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may process information in the United States and in other countries where we or our providers operate. Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, or Swiss law requires a safeguard for that transfer, we use an approved mechanism such as standard contractual clauses.

Children

The website is a general-audience studio site. It is not directed at children under 13, or under 16 in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom.

A game is not directed at children unless its store listing says that it is. If a game is directed at children, or we know a player is a child, we follow the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, the Google Play Families policy, and Apple’s rules for kids’ apps. In that case we collect only what the game needs to function, we do not show behavioral ads, we do not track the child, and any SDK in the game is one approved for a child-directed service where the store requires that.

If you are a parent and believe we have information about your child, email studio@pyreware.com. We will delete it.

How long we keep data

How we protect data

We transmit personal information over HTTPS. Access to support mail and to any server-side game data is limited to people who need it to operate the studio. We choose providers that protect information in transit and restrict their own access.

No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure. If a breach of personal information requires us to notify you or a regulator, we will do that.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

Email studio@pyreware.com with the subject “Privacy request”. Tell us the game, if any, and the right you want to use. We may ask for information only to confirm that the request is yours, so we do not disclose or delete another person’s data. We respond within 30 days. If a law allows a longer period because the request is complex, we will tell you why before the first 30 days end.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. A game feature that needs the deleted data, such as a cloud save, will stop working after deletion. The rest of a game that can run on the device still can.

European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

You can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority where you live, where you work, or where you believe a problem occurred. We would like the chance to address the request first at studio@pyreware.com.

California and other US states

We do not sell personal information and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are used in the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. You may use an authorized agent if the law where you live allows it. The agent must show that they are allowed to act for you, and we may still ask you to confirm the request.

Delete an account or your data

This section is the public page for deleting a PyreWare account and the personal information associated with it. Use it if you no longer have the game installed. You do not have to download the game again to make the request.

If a game lets you create an account, you can delete it in either of these ways:

  1. In the game. Open account settings and choose Delete account. The control is labeled as deletion, not as a temporary deactivation. If the game has no account, this step does not apply.
  2. From this website. Email studio@pyreware.com with the subject “Account deletion”. Include the name of the game and the email address or player name on the account. If you never created an account and want other information deleted, such as a support email, say that in the message.

We may ask one question to confirm that you control the account or the email address. We will not ask you to reinstall the app. We delete the account and the personal information associated with it within 30 days of a verified request. Deletion removes the account. Turning the account off, or freezing it, is not a substitute.

What we delete, and what we may keep:

The same address, studio@pyreware.com, is how you revoke consent or request deletion of website logs and support mail, even if you never created an account.

Google Play and the App Store

Every game we publish includes a link to this policy in the app and in the store listing. The URL is https://www.pyreware.com/privacy. It is a normal web page, available without a login, including outside the country where the game is installed.

For Google Play, the Data safety form for each game describes the same collection, use, and sharing as this policy, including data handled by any SDK in that game. The account-deletion link we enter in Play Console is https://www.pyreware.com/privacy#delete-account.

For the App Store, the App Privacy details for each game describe the same collection. The privacy policy URL is https://www.pyreware.com/privacy. A privacy choices URL, if we provide one in App Store Connect, is https://www.pyreware.com/privacy#privacy-choices. Games that include third-party code ship the privacy manifests Apple requires for that code.

Inside a game that offers an account, account deletion is also available in the account settings, as Apple’s App Store Review Guideline 5.1.1 and Google Play’s account deletion rule require.

Changes

If we change this policy, we post the new version on this page and change the date at the top. If a change materially affects a game you already use, we also give notice in that game or through its store listing before the change applies. Continuing to use the website after the date of an update means the updated policy applies to the website.
